Year 2 - Day 10

COLD MORNING

It was 28 degrees when I dropped off the kids at school this morning.  Snow covered the grass and the rooftops, but the roads that I drove were mostly clear.  I stopped by the lake and a huge group of birds were on the lake and the closer I got to the water the faster they cleared out.  I love the old filter building and with the snow on the ground & rooftop next to it, it was the day to take this shot.  Its one I've taken before, but I truly love the view around the lake.

Looks cold indeed.

I like the inclusion of birds in flight in this composition - brings in interest to this shot. Nice way to bring life to still life photography.

The first I noticed was the building in the background.
