I love the days I can pull a photo directly out of the camera and post it with no editing. I just think that's the way photos are suppose to be. Ansel Adams didn't have Photoshop or Lightroom. Not that I don't appreciate the ability to fix my photos, and not that you can't manipulate negatives. It just feels good to post an unedited photo to prove you can do it without all the fuss.

I don't remember the last time I posted a picture directly from my camera, I always crop.

I'm afraid I always go through some post processing.
Ansel Adams did have the darkroom. Every image he created was with the final result in mind. That could have been with dodging and burning in the darkroom or with his zone system and making sure to expose for the highlights and print for the shadows.
