Day 348: Sitting Still

I believe this is a giant swallowtail, but it doesn't really look that giant to me.  I will say that this was the only swallowtail of any kind that sat still long enough for me to snap a pic.

Day 340: Orange for fall

You thought you were going to get a pumpkin didn't you?  I spent an hour or so at the Dallas Arboretum and was delighted to have this little guy cooperate with me for a photo.  Every walk way was lined with pumpkins, but this was the prettiest orange I saw.  Also, no post processing except for a slight crop.

Day 319: Swallowtail

I took this with the Tele Macro.  Much easier to take than trying to get an inch away from it.  Playing with toys is fun.

So in this day and age of Lightroom, Aperture, Photoshop...or whatever you choose, what happened to the photographer who just took a picture and that was it. I'm challenging myself to a week of unedited photos. YES, UNEDITED. I challenge you to do the same, or maybe just one day. I'm not saying give up editing - just try it you might find it a challenge.
