Day 29: Morning Rose

Today did not yield the photo I was hoping for - I wanted to take the backside of a rose. I ran to the Dallas Arboretum (my favorite place to shoot) 1st thing this morning. I found the perfect specimen and it was too pretty to take from behind.

I have failed in my manual reading of late - I am going on a 4 day trip I'm taking my D90 manual, my Scott Kelby book, Understanding Exposure by Bryan Peterson (Kelby recommended) and my Lightroom book. With no TV in the bedroom I'm staying in I'll get a lot of reading done.

What a beautiful flower! I'll have to go to the library and check those books out.
