RAVEN

If you've been here before, you know my love of cemeteries and I've been a little obsessed with Edgar Allan Poe lately.  He was always one of my favorite poets, I've been writing a little more and it inspires me so when I came upon this at Oakwood Cemetery in Austin I couldn't help but snap this.  The Raven has always been one of my favorites.

Day 193: The Crossing Guard

I don't often take pictures of humans - but I have more fun making this man laugh.  He probably prays for me nightly, but never fails to laugh at any joke I throw his way.  He is a man that truly enjoys life and that is a rare and enviable thing.

Day 146: A story

The boys and I went for a walk.

We saw some beautiful things.

The Bluebonnets were up, but not quite blooming.

It's St. Patrick's Day.

They threw some rocks into the stock tank.

Upon reflection.....

It was a beautiful spring day.

Day 144: Don't freak out. Yes, I these are people.

Its Spring Break and I have 5 days with my boys.  I asked for a quick walk, they complained as soon as we got 6 feet away from the car and began asking if we could go home.  I tortured them for about 30 minutes before I turned around.  E is on the top only because  I took that picture first, H2, well, I'm sure he always feels like he comes in second, but he has a spark in his eye that no one can beat.  It's like he always knows a secret or what's about to happen.

I'm looking forward to my 5 uninterrupted days with my boys, although I might need to be medicated afterwards(ha! ha!).  I took some awesome pictures today, I think I'll have to go back and take a few more so I can use them tomorrow.  These were by far the closest to my heart.

Day 91: Growth

I'm sure you are looking at this picture and wondering what in the heck it has to do with growth and how it fits into that Theme Thursday.  I'll tell you.  I am a shy, shy girl inside.  I know that I have worth, but I'm still struggling with my fear of rejection so much that I avoid gatherings - especially gatherings I where I don't know anyone.  Growth doesn't just mean getting bigger, its developing into something different.  I am growing as a person, by stepping out of my comfort zone and expanding my horizons.

Blogher had a little DFW get together at Village Tea Company.  It was a lot of fun, I mean some really fun people.  Talked a while took a few pictures.  Enjoyed myself, drank way too much tea and ate some fabulous food.  I met @screweduptexan  who I've communicated with on Twitter and through her blog.  I met @aleshanicole - who posses not only a beautiful smile, but a beautiful soul.

I skipped my manual & images today, I promise I'll catch up tomorrow.
