Day 113: Day 2 of the Dallas Snowpocalypse.

So if you have been following my Twitter or Facebook accounts you will know that I lost power and didn't get it back for 57 hours.  57 hours is a long, long time to be without power when you have a foot of snow.  It was 45 degrees inside my house at one point.  Now, I may have exaggerated a little bit about how horrible it actually was and while my house was without power and 45 degrees - I was not at my house; I was staying at the house above.  Yes, this is the backyard of the house I was staying in.  The tree is what you see off the 2nd floor balcony.  Below is the house to the left and across the street - and while I wouldn't normally post this it is NBA All-Star weekend and that is the gate of the house of Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban.  So technically its relevant.

I am now comfy in my own little 2 bedroom house with electricity thanks to the Jerry & his gang at Oncor Electric who fixed the stuff in the alley after I chased him down and refused to leave him until he fixed it.  Its good to be home.

Wow - these are amazing shots. You captured some great contrast and mono tonal range; nice and crisp! I love the composition of all the shots! Seems like everyone is digging out of snow these days!
